Unsatisfied with other bathymetric boats on offer, SEAM Surveys worked with the manufacturers to develop and field test the Accura over for over a year. The final product has the best of everything. The dual thruster boat has the optimum speed and run time combined with the motor's weed protection ensures maximum coverage with minimal problems. Combined with high precision RTK GNSS, the compact CEESCOPE TM 33/200kHz dual frequency depth sounder, is capable of accurate bathymetry in only about 30cm of water, being ideal for use on the shallow draft remotely operated boat.

In addition to transmitting real time soundings and boat position to the shore it logs a full water column acoustic envelope on both sonar channels displayed through HYPACK® software on the shore acquisition computer.

Importantly for remote surveying, the CEESCOPE TM logs a fully PPS time stamped sonar record allowing data received at the shore to be free from potentially significant timing errors. The equipment can be quickly swapped out to a full survey vessel to measure the floor of larger lakes and dams in safe environments. All Accura equipment including the boat, is easily transportable by air or road to enable deployment to remote locations.
